Holi Mubarak to everyone! So our Holi dessert is here, it’s a simple one, begginers should definitely give it a try. Also it’s made of those always available ingredients in an Indian kitchen.
Ingredients
Full cream milk – 500 ml
Sugar – 3tbspn
Cardemom powder – 1 tspn
Kesar – a pinch
White bread – 4slices
Ghee – 100 grams
Chopped Almonds – 3 tbspn
Steps
Rabri
1. For rabari, boil your milk in heavy bottom pan on a medium flame.
2. Once the milk boils, add sugar and cardamom powder and kesar to it.
3. Stick the layers of cream that form after every boil, on the sides of your pan. Then scrap them off into the milk.
4. Keep repeating the process, till half or less than that, of the total milk is left in the pan.
5. Add 2 tbspn almonds to it and your Rabri is ready, turn the flame off. Let it come to room temperature.
Tukras
6. Take white breads, trim off the sides.
7. Cut into two halves (triangles or rectangles)
8. Place a fry pan on low flame, spread two spoons full of ghee, as it melts, take one or two bread slices at a time and roast them until golden brown.
9. Roast all the bread slices the same way.
10. Now take a plate, pour some Rabri in it, then place your tukras(roasted bread slices) into it. Garnish with the left 1tbspn almonds.
11. Enjoy cripsy shahi tukra with super delicious Rabri!😋
